Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went body boarding and body surfing with my two daughters, and it is a lovely beach. The afternoon we were there, Lifeguards were in attendance which was great to see, but the surf was quite rough, with a very strong tide/current. Didn’t stop us have fun though. Had to leave the water after a couple of hours as a shark had been spotted not far from where we were, but that is to be expected when you play in their territory. There is a naturally formed lagoon near the car park which is great for those wanting to swim or those who have younger children. It is a beautiful beach and well worth a visit.

Enjoying a short break in Yallingup with friends and ventured to the beach to enjoy a coffee from the van while we surveyed the activities on shore and the water. A good number of people enjoying surfing and swimming and a few optimists hoping to catch a fish. Nice area to spend an hour.

It has been a long time since I visited here and apart from the amount of houses it seems to have largely remained the same.

It really is a peaceful location.

There isn't a lot here so we went for a walk with our pup on the trails (dogs not allowed anywhere near the beach) bought a cup of coffee and drove off. There isn't much to keep you here unless you're a surfie.

Another beautiful coastline area and our last stop on the day. Busy with people parked and enjoying the views, others strolling the beach and hardy surfers waiting patiently waiting in the bay for the ripple to become a wave. Very good facilities nearby.

Walked part of the Cape to Cape trail from Torpedo Rock (near Smiths Beach) to Yallingup - about 4kms return. Well worth the walk although it's quite exposed; gravel without stairs so would be ok for strollers; plenty of viewing spots to check out the impressive surf, especially in big swell conditions. Once in Yallingup itself take advantage of the foreshore development on the headland overlooking the main beach - naturally shady, innovative playground (for up to approx. 8yr olds), prime viewing spot of the surf. Low tide provides some good spots for learner surfers.

The main beach is a short stroll from Caves House where we were staying. We spent a couple of hours there late afternoon on a perfect day. Family friendly, easily accessible, good for both swimming and surfing.

The water was lovely and clear. However, the cost line in this area of Australia is mainly cliffs and rocks so any tiny stretch of proper beach (like this here) is full with families, screaming babies and running dogs. To add to it, during April there were annoying biting ants everywhere so we ended up staying for no more but ten minutes. Much nicer (and quieter) beaches to be had almost anywhere else in this beautiful country!

Good roadside parking, few steps down to beach.

Rocky, great for beach combing yet with clean clear water.

Stoped off here only to see the views and wasn’t disappointed, get great views of the bay from up in the car park or wonder down to the beach where your met by white soft sand
