Caught the 8.25am train to fremantle (30mins). Walked out the station, turn right n walked straight to reach B- Shed (about 5mins) to catch the ferry. Took the 9.30am ferry to the Island from fremantle instead of perth as it's much cheaper and the sea...More

Rottnest Island is truly amazing. It has stunning scenery and is beautiful. People often focus on its coastline but don’t miss out on enjoying the Salt Lakes which are just as wonderful.

We were riding to see the lighthouse when I stopped here to get some photos here it is nice to ride through here as it is gorgeous and makes for some good posts.

It’s the first thing you get to if you go directly west from town. I only noticed a faint smell but the pink and blue colours and froth sitting around were very noticeable. Lots of bird life including breeding areas.
