Great day on the island you can walk about , bus around or bike around. Lots of places to eat and great views at the waterfront. We went with a very large group and they handled it very well.

August is the winter season so less llikely to be dry but I don't think there is a lot of rainfall, and temperatures are still pleasant, possibly more suited for activities like cycling. More detailed info about the weather... More

Most people we spoke to got around and had a good look around the island. Sometimes they run a later boat, so if you check when you arrive you can opt for this but you need to check at the visitor section on the island.
