Apparently this is a good place for breakfast, I went to look at the architecture and learn more about its history. It is a joy to look at but, sadly I would have liked more information boards.

We took the time to get off our bikes and have a good look around the barracks, It was a beautiful old building that now houses school camps. It would have been great to see it in action back in the day. Was pleasantly suprised...More

We had a group of 10 ladies and got the Barracks 152 house which is on top of hill. Nicely tucked away and short walk down to beach for a quick dip and walk along on a nice summers day.

The barracks were not open when we visited so we could not go inside for a tour. But it was great to find out a little more about the military history of the island and the kids always love to see and play with the...More

I didn't pay for a tour, but I did bike there with three couples and god knows how many kids between us. And I wish I had. The location is isolated and unassuming. Red brick buildings that could have been about 20 years old. A...More

Hired a family room at the barracks. Backpacker style accommodation with shared kitchen facility. Only a small trickle of water from the main shower in out block and no better in the ones near the laundry. 2 stove/ ovens in the kitchen in our block...More
