This jetty has evolved over the years from a low lying jetty that waves would crash over during storms to the decent sound construction that our is today. I remember fishing here when I was a kid and took my children here for some fun....More

Lack of Development over a long period in the area. My opinion?close the beachfront road off completely, long grassy parks and cafes and wine bars coupled with other attractions throughout the whole area, all about quality not quantity. Paint that nightclub a different colour to...More

Palm Beach is iconic on Rockingham foreshore. A great tidal beach for swimming(especially little ones). The jetty allows access for swimmers and is a popular fishing point. Opposite the Jetty one can access local Cafés for a quick meal or snack. There is also a...More

Palm Beach had huge dunes, so attractive! The beach was quite comfortable as well. Boaters liked to anchor here. We talk here about hundreds of boats. Wow! They were planting new plants on the dunes. I enjoyed that beach. I had never seen so many...More

While a lot of Perth beaches are beautiful Palm Beach is fantastic because this one is so protected from the wind it is always calm and beautiful, well worth a visit

This is the only place I tend to get lucky catching fish I've seen all sorts of strange things being caught from this jetty including seahorses, seagulls, globefish and leatherjackets. Occasionally you will see a dolphin or two.

The dolphins and seals no longer come here. Maybe coz idiots keep scaring them off. I've caught quite a few squid off the jetty here. Easy place to relax.

What makes a great beach? Somewhere with clean sand and a wide beach, not too crowded, plenty of parking close by, low waves and expanse of shallow water. And that is exactly what you’ll find at Palm Beach. It’s not up there now as one...More

No but Churchill Park & Bell Park a little walk east bound from Palm beach does. You have to get there early though!
