West Cape Howe Winery is situated in Mount Barker, in the midst of the oldest vineyard planting in the Great Southern. Our driving philosophy is to make delicious wines of harmony, balance, structure and flavour - wines that people love to drink.

We visited in mid winter and so were almost the only visitors at the time. Wine tasting was generous and they even opened a new bottle of bubbly to taste - unusual these days. Lunch was excellent - the tasting plates were large and very...More

Had a fantastic visit in July. The wine tasting was an enjoyable adventure. The pizza with sparkling was fabulous. The two girls serving late afternoon were friendly and helpful. The roaring fire and room were comfortable and inviting. We will be back. But till then...More

Lovely stop on our drive down from Perth to Denmark. Sommelier was knowledgable, friendly and didn’t mind that we’d turned up at their beautiful venue in rather casual clothes! Sampled several different wines between the two of us before settling on a few bottles to...More

Wonderful winery. A few couples with young children came during our visit. Very family friendly Platters delicious, coffee roasted on site and wonderful. That is from a discerning coffee drinker. Very reasonable wine prices.

The best wine my partner and I have ever had. Beautiful & peaceful winery with accommodation available. Great selection of wines but the Pinot Noir was like velvet - cannot recommend enough. Great service from smiling faces who are happy to be there. Thank you!

On our way to Denmark we stopped in for a stretch of the legs and to sample their wine. The Styx Chardonnay was really good, as was their Rose. Lovely setting and could tell it would be lovely on a cold winters day too
