Lovely big signs advising of history and information about the mine. didn't realise we had lithium mines in Western Australia. Bit of a walk to the platform if you have trouble walking but there is a ramp.

Interesting coming from a Gold Mining town of Kalgoorlie that Greenbushes has been a powerhouse of the mining industry for years. Very well presented and prepared site to visit. Like the attention to the sloping approach making access easy, information presented is excellent. Worth 15...More

nice to see an actual working mine, rather than one that was working and has now ceased. Viewing platform is easily accessible by foot and has good information on the types of ore mined and its uses.

It's 350 metres deep and leads to an underground mine reaching to a near kilometer below the earth's surface. From the viewing platform on the northern rim of the massive pit you can view fascinating geological structures. What seems to be a metres wide ribbon...More

If your in Greenbushes make sure you don't miss the mine lookout. An easy walk to the lookout with plenty of information available at the top.

I spent some time doing some walks in Greenbushes (the Mining Heritage Walk goes right past here), and even though I only spent a short time at the Mine Lookout, it's well worth a quick stop if you are in the area. From the parking...More

There is a great lookout platform looking into the Tin mine but it appears the main action has moved further afield. Informative signage Could have more details of extracting the main minerals from the ore like they do in Kalgoorlie
