Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mount Shadforth Scenic Drive is part of the Scotsdale drive, although I encountered some unsealed roads on part of the Mount Shadforth Scenic Drive component.

The drive is worth it to see all the stunning scenery.

A nice scenic road along the elevated roadway with views over the various bays along the coast. A number of vineyards and wineries are located along this drive so just take in the sights before you take in the wine!!

Being that the road climbs above the Denmark townsite this provides a magnificent vantage point for a pictoresque view of the area. The road leads through the forest area and really is a worthwhile drive.

Always worth the time of you're in the area.

We actually stayed on this drive so drove up and down several times, beautiful scenery with dappled sunlight through the trees, plenty of places to either stay at or just enjoy a meal

This pretty drive through lush pastures with huge trees and scenic views is an alternative route to Greens Pool from Denmark by leaving the main road and travelling along Mt Shadford Road across the top of the mountain. The area is home to many orchards, galleries and vineyards so it's possible to stop at many of these locations and taste and buy from a local. At the end of the drive is the Mount Shadford Nature Reserve with a scenic lookout. The drive had prettier views than the lookout but it was certainly worth the time doing both and enjoying some of our beautiful country by leaving the usual roads and taking the scenic route.

Great little drive to kill time or explore the area. Few stops along the way to enjoy the view. Areas are winding so watch the road and the blind corners.

Beware that this drive degenerates into an unsealed road for a few kms. It is OK, but nothing special. You can combine a visit to Green Pools and Elephant Rocks with the Mount Shadforth Scenic Drive, which ends very close to the turn off for Williams Bay National Park and Green Pools
