If travelling through I recommend stopping here. The bay is very beautiful and would be great to have a picnic. There are a few shops (cafe, bakery, fish n chips store) nearby also.

A World Heritage area on 4 counts; how good does it get?!?! Colours in the land, sea life, animals on the land and a great list of activities; a place not to be missed.

A cozy small settler town, a good location for an overnight stay while traveling around the areas. The sunset by the beach is a sight not to be missed. There are few interesting business establishment for the tourists to visit to kill few hours.

The public beach area was not at all inviting with heaps of seaweed on the beach and in the water. It would have not taken much to clear it out. Also spoiled by seagulls and crows trying to snatch food

Spend 2 weeks in Shark Bay and it was so good, breath taking views over the ocean and all the sea creatures that you see once you venture out of the harbor.

We loved Shark Bay, the kids enjoyed fishing on the beach, playing on the excellent playground on the foreshore. Its a great spot and the water is so warm. Highly recommend for a family holiday.

Hi scipio A. I totally agree with the last reply. Give Denham a miss. For that matter we found monkey Mia a big let down. Save your time for Geraldton or Canarvon. Much better money spent
