We visited during a science fair. Was great to hear different stories from people who lived in Denham and the welcome to the country.

Not a destination as 30 minutes is enough but fascinating nonetheless. Boardwalk with display boards. Easily reached from nearby carpark with cafe / souvenir shop in nearby caravan park if you need sustenance

I love to visit the “strommies” any time we are up this way. The boardwalk makes it so easy to check them out. Very interesting!

Not quite what I expected. The result of particles being extracted from sea water and added to base rock over millions of years. An extensive boardwalk gives you great access and good interpretative signs helps you understand what you are looking at.

Great deck walkway to view this natural feature through incredibly clear water. You'll get good photographs here.

Kids won't be too excited by some rocks in the water, but if you are a natural history buff then it's worth a short visit.

We stopped here on the way to our campsite and our tour guide was providing us the information about the stromatolites and why Shark Bay is the world heritage. Such interesting fact.

Great to see this as I have often seen TV programs about these. Very thoughtfully done. The information provided is excellent and we enjoyed this stop over.
