The tide was coming in so we couldn't see these formations in their gloty?. However the board walk and interpretive sign explained the importance of this amazing place. The boardwalk there was well used

We found this place extremely interesting. Plenty of parking and all done very well. Lots of information and the boardwalk was excellent.

Whilst the Stromatolites were nice they were a quite "non exciting" tourist attraction. The Boardwalk was very well built and the signage was very informative, still worth a visit but not must do......

Well sure did some learning today about Stromatolites, such a unusual Creature?. The very informative boards/signs on the walk down to the Boardwalk were great to see. Well worth a visit.

A unique opportunity to view from platform on Hamelin Pool stromatolites, which are oldest and largest living fossils on earth. Stromatolites are considered "living fossils" , part of the Earth's evolutionary history. Well presented information about it on the boards.

The history and live of stromatolites are well explained on different information boards along the walk/ boardwalk! Make sure to go during lowtide to better view the living organisms! Worth the visit as opposed to the shellbeach.

See what David Attenborough came to see...a bunch of bacteria formed into what look like rocks over many thousands of years.

There is a great board walk and enough signage to make a very static growth interesting. An odd observation was fish in amongst the stromatolites that just hovered and showed no inclination to move; possibly the hyper saline water was the cause.
