Perhaps the gardens would have been a little more colourful if we visited earlier in the year, but it certainly didn't disappoint! The gardens are divided into sections representing different themes e.g. Meditteranean, South Africa, succulents, palms. An awesome variety of plants from all over...More

Definitely worth a visit, at any time of year. Firstly, if they are feeding, you have to get past watching the red squirrels taking nuts from the feeders either side of the bridge. Fascinating to watch, completely un-phased by people and great photo opportunities. Can...More

Wonderful garden with plants, shrubs and trees from all over the world. There are red squirrels running around, lots of birds and many interesting features built in to the garden. Nice cafe for a snack after exploring.

We visited Tresco gardens on Sunday morning. The morning and boat trip were very windy, but the gardens are so sheltered and beautiful. The shell house with its mosaics is lovely. Every time you turn a corner you see something else, a lovely view of...More

Tresco gardens were amazing, to see so many exotic plants growing outside in England is incredible, the Valhalla collection of figureheads from shipwrecks really makes you think about what life on the sea was like before GPS and all the modern gear, would recommend taking...More

I am not sure about any of this as we stayed in St Marys. when you land in St Marys there are plenty of boards up detailing boat trips etc.

We were there in August and learned that we are probably no gardening people. We spent about the same amount of time in the garden as we did at the Valhalla museum.
