Wow, what a superb walk. Fantastic views and immaculately restored canons. A great way to spend a couple of hours walking and taking in the atmosphere. Information boards were well placed explaining the history of the site. Well worth a visit.

A good path takes you around the walls. As you complete the circle the view constantly changes. You are able to see the range of smaller islands around St Marys. The history of the Garrison is well worth investigating

We walked around the walls in about 45 minutes. It was the last thing on our itinerary before we got the boat back to Penzance. Pleasant enough and has some good views.

Nice walk around the Garrison of an evening. Watch the sun go down over the ocean. Then go find a pub in St Mary's for a drink. What more do you want?

Good walk, mainly level foot way. Traffic free. Good views across to St Agnes, and lots for the history buffs to take in.

Whether it's sunny or foggy, this is a good & fairly gentle walk once you've got up the first hill. Not a bad wet day activity.

Not at all - it is totally free and about 2.5hrs to walk around taking lots of photos. You can do a guided tour - about £8 from the TIC which is also good and get a more in depth history of the place.
