Love going to visit John in his studio. Listening to his stories which always brings much laughter. Bought his newly published book which, when I read it, transports me straight back to the studio. He and his wife are inspirational crafters.

John is one of the most welcoming people we have ever met. We browsed his pottery with its colourful and ornate pieces. He was very chatty and told us some wonderful stories. A must visit place whilst on St Mary’s.

We finally got round to visiting the pottery. John Bourdeax was a warm and friendly man and his glazes are beautiful, somehow representing the colours of the islands. You will not get away without being captivated and buying at least one example!

John Bordeaux is always welcoming and is an entertaining conversationalist. His work is beautiful, and I never feel obliged to buy anything, although on our latest visit we did treat ourselves.

John is a warm charactor who is a part of the Scilly's. His pottery always brings back memories of our holidays there.
