Lovely walk (about 2 km?) along the river Duero to reach this beautiful hermitage. It almost hangs over the river. Free entry. Well worth a visit.

Fascinating hermitage built into the rock with caves, passages and rooms on a variety of levels. A great walk from the town centre along the Douro River to get there.

A refreshing river side walk brings you to Ermita de san saturio. Admission is free and its a very interesting place. Very enjoyable

Wonderful area near Duero river to walk, breath and relax. You can arrive walking from the city and take beautiful pictures of it

Happened upon this site and found it to be enchanting and full of interesting history. Most information available only in spanish. Well worth the visit and very different from your typical religious site.
