We took the chair lift up Mt Solaro one morning - it looks scary but is perfectly safe. There are 2 men who help you on the seat and place the bar across. The views are stunning on the way up and when you arrive....More

My wife who is afraid of heights did the chair lift. She thought it was a blast. Originally built in 1952, you can easily find this lift in Anacapri near Piazza Vittoria. Just look for the single chairs going up the mountain! There are actually...More

Well worth the trip. Not only will you get to see Anacapri - which is a quieter, less frenetic part of the island, but you will get to go on the 10 minute chair lift ride to the top of Mount Solaro. 11 Euros (return...More

We took the bus from the main plaza to Anacapri. Crowded as can be, but not bad at all. Once there, Take the chair lift. It’s 100% worth it, I can’t imagine the same experience without it. The views are spectacular, and there is a...More
