Visited this lovely church yesterday morning . It cost 2 Euro entrance fee. The handpainted ceramic floor tiles are magnificent. Make sure you climb up the narrow; spiral staircase to the viewing gallery .

I visited my share of churches on this trip, and being non-religious, this was something I will not forget. The floor is a full mosaic of the garden of Adam and Eve. Go up the spiral staircase to get a bird's eye view. Truly spectacular....More

The church floor is a stunning view of Adam and Even in the garden with fascinating faces on the animals. To get the full effect climb the tiny spiral staircase to the gallery upstairs!

I am so lucky that I found out about this church before my trip and put it on our list. You just have to go on second floor on a tiny iron staircase and be amazed what the great masters from the old days did...More
