We spend 4 hours there..24 euro entrance fees per person. Interesting for young people or groups or corporate party. As individuals we used few attractions and saw some of their program such as water and fire..to be done

The longest waiting times are on the most extreme rides (Silver Star, Blue Fire, Wodan, Euro Mir, Euro Sat) . If you skip those, then I'd say that one full day would be sufficient.

Yes around Europapark not much.Freiburg is 30 mins away by car. Very nice germany city with bars, restaurants, shopping. Also Strasbourg is only max 1 hour and lots to see and do there...
