Very charming and a lot of fun!
We had never heard of Europa Park, but a friend of ours is a big fan and goes often. We didn’t know what to expect but thought that we would give it a shot. So glad that we did! Very charming and a lot of fun! Several of the rides are similar to what you would find at Disney but were still quite enjoyable. We stayed at their Spain property nearby. It was a great hotel and allowed for easy access to the park. Lots of great dining options at the park and in the hotel. All in all, a lovely place to visit - definitely recommend a day or two there!

    Excellent ice show
Fantastic ice show! The Halloween ice show was simply out of this world! So much going on we had to watch it twice. Each character was so much fun. The funny clown who literally jumped off the stage and the very scary but fun vampire with the big hat who whipped everyone. Engaging, fun and talented!

    Beautiful, old fashioned park
For anyone who has ever been to a Disney park, you will get a kick out of the blatant copying: a pirate ride, haunted mansion, even an Epcot ball! We visited in late October, and the Halloween theming and fall decor were superb. That alone would have made a worthwhile day for me. But in addition to that, there were also many fun rides. I really enjoyed some of the more old fashioned family rides, such as the princess boat ride. The fairy tale section was also a wonderful surprise.

    Never a disappointment!
My favorite theme park ever, and I'm from California! So much love in the details, which complements the wide variety of rides. You have these megacoasters, lile Blue Fire and Silver Star, classic roller coasters lile Wodan, and lots of options for younger guests. Even if you don't like rides, there are a lot of shows that are fun to watch. I always go during Halloween and winter season. Halloween is probably better for teenagers, because the "big" rides are open, and the haunted Geisterbahn & other events may be a little scary for little kids. Winter is more family friendly, with beautiful lights and a Ferris wheel that lets you see the entire park light up. There are more shows for kids too, and the shows are less scary. Christmas musicals and songs. My favorite ride is Blue Fire (sit in the front!), and at night in the winter is the absolute best! You can see the park and lights while you're plummeting to your doom, lol Hotels are a bit pricy, but made in loving detail and the staff is always friendly. I like Kronasar, but Bell Rock and Andaluz are great as well. The breakfasts (and coffee) are fantastic! I was really impressed. I haven't had one disappointing trip yet!

If you’re on the fence.. do it!
Great theme park & lots to do over the two days we visited. Some things I’d say they did even better than Disney such as the Pirates ride which was pretty great. The ride inside the giant “Epcot ball” was great too & we really liked the waterboat ride. The park area near Ireland was great for our 2 year old, lots of slides & the same inside where the Arthur ride is. Wodan ride was up there with some of the best we’ve been on in the UK and Orlando. Overall, if you’re considering visiting it is well worth it. What we did was fly into Basel, spent the day/night in Basel, train to Rust where we stayed for 3 nights then got the train to Disneyland where we spent a further 3 nights. Was different to our usual holiday to Orlando and was a nice change.

    Once in a lifetime experience
Europa Park is such a great place for all ages. There is so much to do and the energy of the park is so positive. The representation of countries throughout the park is very accurate and it is also quite educational. There is everything for all ages, access to toilets and food wherever you look and the park is huge! From monorails to observation towers there is always something to do. The park is extremely kid and teen friendly which makes it so amazing for when you are travelling with family, food is spectacular and the park is surprisingly extremely clean. The rides are really fun, you can tell they put alot of effort into making sure their rides are enjoyable for all audiences and that they put alot of time into the decoration and accurate representation of the rides in the different countries. During my stay, I did not see one piece of litter at the park. They even use eco-friendly cups which is so great. Queue times are not even that extreme, the rides are amazing for the wait (especially Wodan, that was the family favourite)! I absolutely recommend this park to everyone and anyone as you will be blown away at how well-managed and spotless the park is. The park is brilliant for its value and I will 100% be coming back here in the future.

A Visit to Europa Park with My Family and Grand Kids
My family and I, including my grandchildren, were delighted by our visit to the park, observing its impressive growth and development over the years. To fully explore the park and enjoy the array of rides, shows, and attractions, dedicating at least two days is advisable. The park's cleanliness and meticulous maintenance were evident throughout our visit, reflecting the staff's dedication to providing a pleasant environment. The park offers a variety of attractions catering to all ages, from exhilarating roller coasters and virtual rides to more serene story rides and shows. While we noted that the food and drink prices were on par with other parks, we appreciated the flexibility to bring our own snacks and meals. The admission price proved to be a good value, considering the extensive entertainment options available, ensuring a memorable experience for the entire family.

    Great for all age groups
I have visited many theme parks both in Germany and in the UK, and Europapark is definitely one of the best. What makes it stand out is that it caters for all ages and tastes, it is vast and so well themed. If you have children of different ages then Europapark is definitely the best place to go: It's as good as Disneyland for small children and as good for thrills as Phantasialand. It is just so vast and varied, there is something for all age groups. You will need two days to explore it. It's easy to get to by public transport (fly to Basel, then trains to Freiburg and Ringsheim) . We had a great time. Beautiful fun place.

Beat European theme park including Disney
What can I say.. just WOW. Blows alll UK theme parks out of the water. The theming is amazing, it’s based off countries which makes you feel like you’re in those countries. There’s rides for all ages. Queues were non existent which meant we went on nearly everything. Maximum waiting times were 20 minutes! Went to see the show in Spain with the horses which I thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed at the kronosar which just added to the incredible theming of our stay. I’ve been to a lot of theme parks and this come 2nd only to Disney world US. Definitely better than Disneyland Paris. You need 2 full days especially if your going to the waterpark which is a must go. If you want to know anymore please follow my page jaylovestravel on TikTok

The park itself is very well built and beautiful to see. Although, the indications are poor and you can't notice clearly when you're passing through each zone. The app works very bad too, so you really can't rely on it to guide you through the park. Overall, I didn't like the park. Very confusing to know how to get to the attractions, at one point we decided just to walk forward in hope that we found what we wanted.
Also i'm more into thrill rides than familiar ones and shows and that's not what europa park is best at. Only 1 good roller-coaster. The good thing about this park was the shows that were really nice. If you have kid, it's for you. If you're alone and want to have fun, probably not for you.

How does a day with the familly at Europapark look like?

You pay the parking place 8euro for 1 car: after 40minutes of car drive and 20minutes to reach the parking (too much cars at entry), 20 minutes to reach the europapark by foot.
You arrive at 11h30 and you are happy.

First attraction: you wait 1h for a 5minute attraction, you realize that it is worse on other attractions (90min+).
You install the app "virtual line": impossible to have 1 quick wait time.

At 13h20 after 1 attraction, you found a "restaurant" you wait again 20minute to eat a hotdog drink and donut 10Euros.
You restart the queue at 14H till 19H, you are lucky if you can do 4 attractions.

The streets are so crowdy that it is even difficult to walk.

Conclusion: 333euros for 5 attraction
wait time: 9H
Play time: 50min
5 persons: 55EuroX5 = 275euro
Parking: 8Euros
Food: 50

It was a very pleasant place to be at. At the beginning when the park literally just opened, queues were short but as the day progressed especially into the afternoon the crowd began to flood in (even whilst covid) and waiting time for rides increased. Although we were pretty sure it would have been much worse without covid.

However, the experience was amazing, definitely worth the entrance fees. The shows were great, rides; both thrilling and chill were enjoyable. Food there was pricey, but which theme park doesn't charge premium prices for food?

Definitely recommended and a place to visit when you're in the area, or make a trip there just for it.

This was our first visit to Europark with our two teenage children (13 & 15). First thing to mention is this park is huge. If you’ve been to any theme park in the UK, then you’ve never been to anything like this park.

Yes, it had its usual long queues, but apart from the ‘virtual queues’ which not many people seem to use, everyone queued at the same rate, so no annoying fast pass people making you wait longer still. While in the queues there are drinks and ice cream kiosks dotted around, so at least if you are getting hot you can grab a well deserved drink. The queue routes are well designed so you never felt you are queuing for too long.

The park is set into different country zones, and we got on the monorail and started in the Spanish section which is furthest from the main entrance.

The rides we went on were excellent, and we managed to get on 8 large rides the day we were there (10th August), and we quickly realised we’d have needed 2-3 days to get around all the park. Sadly we only had time for 1 day on this visit, but we would go back in the future.

The park is immaculate and appeared well maintained, and they looked to be building new rides ready for the 2024 season.

The food and drink was priced at a level you’d expect a theme park to charge a captive audience - Expensive! But no surprises there.

Overall, a really nice place to visit!

Europa-Park is an impressive park, it has everything from strong and intense attractions to stunning shows. First of all I will give some advice. In our case, we stayed in a hotel in the park (Colosseum) I think this is a good option as there are not many hotels near Europa-Park and this is the most comfortable way to access. I also recommend visiting the park for at least two days as it is very large and in a single day it is almost impossible to give you time to get on all the attractions you want. We also went to Rulantica, the water park, being in Germany may not be very attractive but most of it is covered so I also recommend it. The park is divided into seventeen areas, fifteen of them are based in European countries and three are based in a fantasy world. If you like adrenaline, I advise you to prioritize the following attractions: Blue fire, Silver Star, Euromir, Wodan Eurosat Can Can, Poseidon, Atlantic Super Splash and bobsleigh race. I know they are quite essential but each one is worth it. To eat you can explore all you want, there is a restaurant of cuisine of the world that we did not try but that has very good reputation, now it is carillo. The restaurant that if you do have to try is Food Loop is very curious and fun. I have to say that although the customer service in the park, both in the aquatic and in the amusement park, the customer service was great; in the hotel I left several things to be desired, as soon as we arrived we wanted to charge an exhorted figure of money for a service that cost barely half, the service in question was the taxi from the airport to the hotel. I won’t say the exact figure but what the receptionist wanted to charge us was more than double the original price, I don’t deny that most likely he would have been wrong, but telling him his mistake he didn’t apologize and change it unwillingly, in the bar of the same hotel a waitress took things we hadn’t asked and when we told him he was angry and reproached us that we had asked otherwise. Anyway these were isolated cases and the experience of the whole park was a wonderful thing. Super recommended for decoration and attractions

We were 1 day at the park with our 2 teenagers on October 29: Magnificent halloween decorations, few traffic jams when you arrive at the opening at 8:3 but park opens at 9am, despite the world varied shows and quickly accessible I recommend the sultan of the arena and the musical spook me and the crazy me musical show outside in the Italian district. Lots of toilets and pretty good.
Side thrill rides go to the opening at the bottom of the park first to start with the blue line and then wodan next to before the world! My teenagers loved the silver star but 45 minutes wait! The voltron is always with 50 min waiting on average and worth it! The park app can be downloaded on your phone to see the waiting times and shows available but the virtual line is difficult to use for many. It is available after entering the park. This system allows you to reserve the time at which you want to ride. Lack of staff to guide us, not easy to locate, unclear internet map but paper map available at the entrance, very average restaurants. The churros of the Italian store were greasy and untasteful.
The parade at 5:3 is fun!
When you leave in the evening at 7pm difficult to find his vehicle so locate the place! In 1 day c is enough. Provide a bag with water bottles.

The worst day every!
This used to be a good and solid park. One of the best in Germany in based in my opinion.

But with time passing by and my recent visit, they won‘t see me again.
Anyone truely interested in a themepark, here is my advice: Go to Disney and forget this cheap copy!

Corona still being very present in Germany but in the Europapark? Well leave all your social obstacles at the entrace gate and don‘t worry they barely have enough staff to clean the toilet!

- smoke Weed everywhere: no problem
- drink as much as you can, scream shoot : don’t worry they don’t care
- wear no masks, keep no distance and let us just all pretend there is no Corona? That’s great come in!

While the rest of the staff is doing a poor and ignorant job, the PR department is the true star of the park: in every newspaper you can read EP has a great concept!

Ridiculous they should lock this place down!!

Everything is outdated the queues are ridiculous, the food is cheap fried stuff (quality level of a bad gas station) and the prices are well above the quality they offer.

They do have a few good rides but this park lives in the past. The new pirate attraction is in every aspect centuries behind what Disney is doing while they brazenly copy the true Pirates ride.

The people in the park all seem to have adapted on this new management focus because money and profit is the only motivation. Very sad, the health and well being of people should be a major concern as well.

Mallorca Style Tourists and the same behavior!

Do yourself and your family something good and stay away!

To begin with, the park is simply wonderful, the scenery is splendid and really transports you to the different countries.
The attractions are also super nice, knowing that as adults we almost only did thrill rides (in fact, we really fell in love with Blue Fire and Wodan!!!).
The queues are sometimes long in fact, but no longer than in other amusement parks.
When the weather is nice and there are a lot of people, the park closes later (when we went it closed once at 8 p.m. and the other time at 7:30 p.m.), at the end of the day, it doesn't There are almost no people left, so you can do one attraction after another.
In addition, there is the virtualline on the application which is super practical. A little advice: use the virtualline as soon as possible during the day, this will allow you to have slots early and take advantage of them more during the day.
On the other hand, I don't recommend the single rider lines... In fact, they really respect the principle and wait until there is a place available to let you ride the attraction (while sometimes in other parks they pass several at a time in place of the people in the "normal" line). So we found ourselves waiting in line for 45 minutes even though there weren't many people in front of us and the people in the normal line only queued for 25 minutes...
Small downsides:
- we feel that some attractions are old and clearly deserve a makeover.
- the park staff is not always pleasant and even sometimes aggressive.

I have been to Europa Park for my birthday 2 times and 2 times as a trip. I came back because it is the most Amazing theme park ever! The attractions are for all ages, fron the little ones to the big ones. Now you do have to wear masks on attractions, but it is still very fun. The park is split up into different " Countries ", and every country has it's one themed attractions and food. The best ride is in Germany, " Silver Star". It has a killer drop at the start and the it has big ramps. Also there is a ride called " Blue Fire " which has a loop and 360 degree rotations, it speed up 100km in 3.5 seconds. The food there is fabulous. Huge variety of good quality food, best place is at the food loop. The food loop delivers your foods and drinks straight to your table in about 5-10 minutes. It is a food roller coaster. The line is long but it is worth waiting. It is a very special place for a family or a group of freinds/ Couple. Reccomend to come in the summer but, to choose a right date to come because of the weather and amount of people.

Horrible experience! Hygiene concept due to COVID-19 sounds good on paper but is not enforced at all. We really didn‘t feel safe and eventually left early.

Too many people, no distancing observed (1.5m marks on the ground are just for decoration I guess), hardly anyone is wearing masks, even indoors and the worst: when you ask staff (if you are lucky getting a hold of anyone!) they basically tell you that they can‘t do anything about people not adhering to rules…

Rollercoasters etc are fun but definitely not worth catching the virus!

Definitely not recommended if you care about your health!!!
