Very nice state park. Enjoyed hiking the Indian Ladder trail - down and around lots of rock cliffs. Saw a ton of little newts. Visitor center was very nice as well!

Thacher Park has great views and it is a great place for fossil hunting. Highly recommend the hike on Indian Ladders.

Yes, if you supervise them closely. The park is beautiful with views and waterfalls but it also has precipitous drop offs and cliffs that would be dangerous for an unsupervised child.
