Good repository with significant holdings and not just about the local area. Fairly extensive bookstore of local history. The staff is helpful and allows you to look freely at their holdings. They have some Saturday hours in the winter but no evening hours..

They show photos on all these old places in Utica, that don't exit anymore.........for me I have not lived in Utica in 40 years but I love it and it brings back old memories..............

OCHS is a real gem, with outstanding displays, rich archives, and a well-assorted bookstore. There is also an ongoing lecture program.
