This place is tiny, we only visited because we got in for free with our Franklin Institute reciprocal membership. The place is only good for ages 8 and younger, and 8 is really pushing it. There really isn't much to do or see. We are...More

Went hoping for a nice learning experience. Instead, I was faced with animals in tiny cages, dirty aquariums and the saddest owl and rabbit I've ever seen. The rest of the museum was fine, but I couldn't get beyond the animal housing. Just depressing.

Perfect for young children. I would not recomend for older kids (i.e. teens), but for families with young children it is wonderful. Lots of hands on activities which are a must with toddlers, pre-school, and elementary school age kids.
