Bear Mountain was a beautiful area which provided easier and mid-level hiking trails. We took a beautiful walk around the lake and walked the grounds. If you like to ice skate the park is open.

I do not live that far from Bear Mountain. The scenery is beautiful. I always enjoy coming here for the small zoo. My brother comes here every morning to get a workout up & down a huge flight of stairs. Your better off coming here...More

Wear good walking shoes. Bring water bottle, insect repellents, binoculars, trail map. Very scenic trails - miles & miles. Beautiful views of mountains, valleys, river, Forrest, & bridges.
