I do not live that far from Bear Mountain. The scenery is beautiful. I always enjoy coming here for the small zoo. My brother comes here every morning to get a workout up & down a huge flight of stairs. Your better off coming here...More

We went here last weekend and had a nice walk in their park. There’s a zoo so don’t miss that. It’s free. Then there’s a hiking trail you can go to. Im the Weekends the park was packed with people.theres a parking fee of $10...More

Wear good walking shoes. Bring water bottle, insect repellents, binoculars, trail map. Very scenic trails - miles & miles. Beautiful views of mountains, valleys, river, Forrest, & bridges.

New yorkers!!!!!! You don't have to travel so long to go hiking. Just go bear mountain u will have it camp smith blue trail is moderate and gorgeous. Looks and . It is easy for alll ages

This is almost impossible to do a review on. At close to 50,000 acres and too many entrances to count every area has a different feel to it. There are hundreds of miles of hiking trails including a chunk, the original piece I must add,...More

Really beautiful place to hike! Although this is not the Rocky Mountains it is really lovely! This is gorgeous during g the Fall and imagine the colors!

Love all the trails and solitude. The trails are well maintained and next to revolutionary parks adding more flavor to the experience. Love fall colors and the drives through the park
