Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We toured the outdoor sculpture garden on a shopping day in town. The grounds are a green and shady area to get out of the heat. The east end west lawn are open for viewing during the pandemic constraints.

This Center has brought life to the Village. They have live music, movies, community events, and really interesting exhibits. Amy, the article director is fabulous. The Peter Marino show is another in what has been a remarkable run. The Parrish could learn a thing or two from the Center

This museum is very nondescript from the outside, but every time we've stopped here, we've been impressed. There is a changing exhibit, currently the exhibit being showcased is East End Collected3, an eclectic assortment of works by 35 artists. Definitely worth a stop when you're in town.

We happened upon this by change and were thrilled that there was no admission fee. The outside sculpture of a whale's tail composed of collected beach debris is quite wonderful.
The current exhibit of various media focusing on hands was perfect.

As a camera operator who has shot practically EVERYWHERE on Long Island and beyond, it's not often I praise a place I've worked in, but Southampton Cutural Center changes all that. NICE! The two women play I was asked to cover was exceptional and hopefully headed to Off-Broadway, but I almost didn't find the place as I circled and circled all of Southampton Village looking for it, but finally gave in to my GPS; I found it with seconds to go before showtime. This 200 seat theatre is cozy, maybe ten rows, with clear stage views for everyone, and the lobby is a great place to mingle after a performance. Although it doesn't have the theatre look such as Guild Hall of East Hampton or the Wintergarden on Broadway, nor did the ampitheatres of Socrates & Plato, it's all about the stories told within those four walls, and the stories told here are worth the trip when in Southampton Village.
