This is a consistent and very popular spot to fish for Blues, Stripes & Taug (Black fish) in season. It's a nice spot to spend a few hours. Not much available beyond a PortaPotty but there are two very decent restaurants within a short walk.

We have been here many times over the last 25 years. Absolutely lovely. Come early to park nicely on a super hot day though. Bring your camera. On the other side of Dune Road, there is the bay side, the gentle wetlands, and the rougher...More

Beautiful beach that combines camping sunbathing and excellent fishing and gets too crowded in the peak of summer but spring and fall make it worthwhile. Need a Suffolk county beach permit

This park is great for bringing your RV and enjoying the hamptons and fishing. Every time I go I wonder why it is not totally packed.

Shinnecock is a fantastic spot to surf fish. For blue and striped bass fishing the inlet off the rocks early morning is almost a guarantee to go home with fish. You don't even need bait! 2-3 oz silver metal any brand.

This is by far the best beach on Long Island. Excellent for those with 4x4 vehicles to access the beach!

I have a motorhome that can't use the camp spots, no 4 wheel drive. However, it is a lovely place to drive out to and dump the RV tanks! They are very sweet there and you can enjoy a beautiful view while doing the dirty...More

This is the place to go if you have a vehicle that can drive on the sand. You can pull right up to the water's edge and decamp onto some of the best white sand and surf in all the Hamptons. Crystal clear water, great...More

Yes, people fish all year long, and I am so sorry that I don't know about permits at all. I suggest you Google it online.
