We were in the area and toured this beautiful home and gardens on Labor Day Monday. Tour was informative and thorough. Our guide took us through the first floor of the home, the art gallery, and the gardens. Well worth seeing!

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend visiting several Hudson River Valley sites, including this one (and nearby Lyndhurst—see separate review) on our final day. (It was very convenient to stop at both these sites before taking the Tappan Zee Bridge to head home...More

Beautiful gardens and art, be sure to see the Picasso tapestries. the tour was a bit dull, too much about the names of the art and the artist, not enough about the art itself or the Rockefellers. A very pleasant morning.
