On a quest for waterfalls of which there are many along the eastern NY Finger Lakes, I walked a bit of the trail but found it narrow and perhaps a little bit dangerous especially on a wet day with lots of leaves on the trail....More

The rest of my family hiked all the way behind the falls and around to the swimming hole. I did not feel comfortable on the slippery sloped trail so stayed behind, but I was able to view the beautiful waterfall from my safe spot. After...More

We went during a dry day but rainy week. The hike is short but steep and slippery. You definitely want to go slow once you get close to the waterfall. My aunt, who had knee replacement surgery two years ago, managed to climb to the...More

Short but almost treacherous hike to see the falls. Had to scramble a couple of times across bare, sloping trails. The hike to the Bahar Nature Preserve was less challenging & more relaxing. The falls are beautiful though. We passed 4 young women with their...More

It was completely empty when we went, not sure if it’s because it was very hot out, but it led to an awesome secluded hike!! Falls were very cool and different then our usual hikes.

Five stars for the falls. Two stars for the trail. We had never been here before and did not know our way around. What we did has head to the left on the trail from the little parking lot next to the trailhead. A sign...More

This falls is really in the Niles, NY area. GPS will take you to it but there is NO PARKING on the road. Go to the end of the curve and park at the junction. Walk back. Then a VERY STEEP trail down to the...More

Easy walk from the roadside down a relatively steep short path to the base of the falls. Spectacular in the spring when the water is high. Cool and refreshing in summer weather. But a longer walk is available along the top of the gully, down...More

The path is rough, but signs will warn you of that, but if you are looking for a serene place to enjoy nature, this is a great one. I wouldn't recommend it for children as the cliffs are steep and caution is needed. We enjoyed...More

There are a couple of pulloffs where you can park along the road. I don't think it's at all accessible without walking/climbing down. You can only see it from the bottom, but you can see where the stream goes over the... More
