Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Worth a trip from Saratoga Springs when the roses are in bloom. They were almost all in bloom on July 4th.

Loved the shady benches.

Wish there were a closer bathroom; had to drive across the park to the ball fields to find a port-a-potty; I assume there were public restrooms near the swimming pool or BBQ area.

Wedding parties surely must come here to take photos.

Our visit to this city consisted of seeing the City Hall, St John the Evangelist Parish Church, Nott Memorial, General Electric Realty Plot and this garden. This beautifully maintained plot is a small part of the ~1000 acre Central Park. Here we found several small parties taking photos of themselves and the lively flowers. Free entry and parking at the side.

They had a cage where dogs could play together. Some nice ponds. Trails were a bit awkward and didn't exact follow the pond around.

This rose garden is fantastic in spring summer and fall the folks that maintain it do a great job. They make it so beautiful in an already fantastic setting of Central park.

You can feel that Schenectady must be proud of this tidy park, hiding in plain sight in a nondescript neighborhood. Though I visited out of season to see the gardens in bloom, it was still a soul-soothing place to walk.

We stopped up to the Rose Garden on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in late August. The roses are exceptional! So many varieties and colors. The pavilion, creek, waterfalls, fountain and reflecting pools are interesting and relaxing. Kids were playing. Couples were walking hand in hand. Folks were on the benches placed around the garden reading, chatting or just taking in the beauty of the park. Central Park, the home of The Rose Garden, really is the jewel of the City🌹🥀

This is a beautiful spot. We were in the area and had some time to burn. It's worth the stop. We took some nice photos, and were amazed by all the beautiful flowers.

My friend took me there for my birthday. We sat in the shade and ate sandwiches and cupcakes. What a beautiful and relaxing place. The mild aroma of the roses and the water gently falling from the fountain encouraged relaxation. It was a hot day but the breeze was gentle and shade available. Most relaxing birthday ever!!!
