I can't recommend The Crosspatch enough. Scheduling a ride was straightforward and easy. The horses were well-trained and easy for riders like myself with little to no experience. We did the 2 hour ride which was just the right length for us. Staff was knowledgable and friendly.

I really enjoyed my ride at The Crosspatch Ranch. I was in the two hour ride. All the horses are great and we'll cared for. This is a real working ranch, not a "dude" ranch. Staff members are great and answer all questions and explain every aspect of the ride. Our guides, Holly and Jim make sure you are matched with the right horse and stop along the trail to tell riders what is coming up. We stopped for photos at a lovely pond.

Photos are 100% deceiving. This place is a dump. Rides are barely ok. Staff is not friendly. The only thing that is correct, is they do not give a refund, even if one is not physically able to ride. Fine a different facility.

We have been there for both the horseback riding and the chuck wagon dinners. Horses are well groomed and area is clean. Dinners are fun events to be shared with as a group. Homemade dinners cooked outside are delicious and filling. Games for kids are old fashioned - no electronics. Hayrides are fun. Entertainment usually a sing-along to get the whole group involved. Really enjoy this place.

Found this as a morning activity before zip lining in Holiday Valley. Had 2 groups from our family go out for one hour rides. Horses were well behaved, guides were great. Those of us waiting for the 2nd group got to play endless fetch with one of the dogs (adorable), and the hens brought out their baby chicks to show off (or looking for food). Youngest son was still a little uncomfortable on his horse, so he had a guide with him directly, he had a great time.
