Lovely walks through the woods down to the marshland area and sea. Lots of wildlife, we saw deer, turkeys, nesting osprey, woodpeckers and lots of other birds. Took about 1 hour to walk around. very quiet at 11am. Monday morning only saw 3 other people...More

Meandering trails through the coastal woods and marshland. Amazing views. Easy hikes. Lots of flora and fauna to see. Bring the kids.

Great place to watch the sun rise. Get some quite time (only when PlayLand is closed.) deer , ducks, and dogs.

A wooded trail from the road down to the sound. Ideal for jogging in dryer weather, can imagine it roughs up in wetter weather, most paths not suitable for strollers or those not easy on their feet. Some nice views in places.

It is great for an afternoon walk with family to the Long Island Sound. Lots of options for bird watching and horseshoe crab mating spot on the small beach. We take visitors for a walk there quite a lot.
