We had a great time. The zoo has a small intimate feel with just the perfect amount animals to see for young children. They are currently adding a new exhibits to the back of the zoo.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our day at this zoo. You could tell all the animals were happy and healthy. It was a bit disappointing how many exhibits were under construction, but that just gives all the more reason to return in the future

No fee for parking. If you plan on going on the weekends, I recommend getting there at opening time or before as the parking lots fill up fast.

I remember there were a lot of indoor facilities. Though we've never been there in Winter, I can imagine it would be a nice trip in the winter to see the indoor displays and animals.
