Interesting story of the last resident, a friend of FDR. On ly the first floor is on the tour but it is just amazing. Note that they are only open starting on Thursday at 12:00. The grounds are also amazing.

The guide for the tour of Wilderstein is excellent. She has been a tour guide in the house for 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge of this house, the family and the surrounding area.

Interesting little tour, very brief but the grounds are beautiful. I wish you got to see a bit more of the house, but it was a nice place to stop and take in the views.

One of the lesser known mansions on the Hudson. Not a very long tour, mostly the ground floor but very informative.

If you are a history buff and loved FDR, this is a must see. You can feel the spirit of Daisy Suckley and FDR as you walk the grounds. If you are not a history buff, the architecture is terrific and the vistas are amazing....More
