Very nice place to camp and enjoy the outdoors. Thousands islands is a wonderful place of beauty and recreation. Have your coffee overlooking the st Lawrence river and listening to the loons. The bathrooms need an update but were adequately clean, didn’t really come here...More

We always make one weeklong camping trip to the 1000 Islands every Summer but were unable to get into “our spot” at Wellesley Island this year. Luckily I came upon an available site at Kring Point and I booked it. I have a BIG RV...More

If you like camping on a rock, this place if for you. We stayed on site 59. It is a very small site. I wouldn't camp there on sites 59 or 60. No driveway, so you have to carry your stuff.

We were advised that this was a lovely place to visit, so we stopped for a couple day camp-out. Amazing viewing, all around the park (which is, though, small). If you can get in, it is well worth whatever it takes to get there.

We enjoyed exploring this State Park. The ones who were camping here had a nice view on the lake. The kids had a nice playground. However, some preferred to biking. Interestingly enough, one man brought his young pet pig at his camping ground. Wow, he...More

I've camped at Kring State Park 4 times in the past 3 years and enjoy it each time. I usually choose campsite #29 which is in between big rocks. The extra privacy is nice since we have a dog, and there are enough trees to...More
