This is just a very nice place to go for an easy walk in nature that is close to our home. Free parking, dog friendly, and a good amount of parking make this a nice quick getaway. Walk through the woods, see the swans, and...More
This is one of my favorite walks in lower Westchester. Parking is free, there's a nature center with bathrooms. This place is perfect for all ages. There are several trails to choose from and I usually see some type of wildlife.
Getting away from the City for a pleasant weekend in early Autumn, Teatown is an hour north of Manhattan and affords a peaceful and leisurely respite surrounded by trees and nature. Walking trails on hand.
We're spending the week finding little hikes to go on in our area and this is the first one. We absolutely loved our mile and a half walk around the lake and we can't wait to go back. Also enjoyed the nature center.
Great place for a walk or longer hike
Favorite is the Hidden Valley Trail. Many diverse sections that will make your walk entertaining. Beware of some steep elevation changes
Plenty of parking and not particularly crowded, this is definitely a local go to place
