Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you like miniature golf make sure you check out Nutty Putty. It may be small, but they pack a lot into space. The course is made out of wood and seems to be hand crafted and one of a kind. There are also murals and flower used to decorate the course. There was an incredible amount of creativity and brilliance that went into creating this course. There are interesting challenges, such is a moving windmill and puppets that go up and down. One of the most interesting stations is a replica of a pinball machine, with moving parts, including flippers, that the golf ball must navigate. All family members (parents and teens) enjoyed playing miniature golf at Nutty Putty. You won't find a course like it anywhere.
Warning: Anyone on the course must pay, no exceptions. I read a couple of negative reviews from people who were angry that they were expected to pay even though they weren't playing. Do not expect to go onto the course unless you're okay with paying, even if you're not going to play.

By far the best, most inventive mini golf course I've been to and I've been to quite a few. From the street it looks crammed in but that's not the case at all. My husband and 7 year old loved it as much as I did! Definitely don't miss out on this! Every hole is well themed and has creative twists.

This attraction is an Old Forge must. Every hole has been custom designed & original. The owner built it himself. Fun for the whole family & reasonably priced. Our favorite hole is the pinball machine, with an actual switch you turn on & off. We visit every year!

This used to be a favorite stop of ours during our yearly visit to Old Forge but I will never return after my experience today. My family, including my 12 year old daughter,
paid to golf and they would not let me in because I wasn't golfing. I was told (incredibly rudely, I might add) that I had to sit outside because I am not a paying customer even though I paid for my daughter to golf. They might want to brush up on their customer service as I was treated terribly. I work in customer service and would never speak to a customer in this manner. They should be ashamed! You couldn't pay me to return to this place!

Nine of our family went to this establishment and paid $6 per person to play. I have physical issues and have problems playing miniature golf. Since I can't play I asked if I could follow along and take photos of my family members playing. I was rudely told - if you come on the property I have to charge you. Really? Is this how you treat people who can't participate in the sport? Terrible. It's fun place to go if you don't have health issues.

Well maintained course that had pretty true bounces off the boards. Not too hard. Obstacles manageable.

Each year, for more than 30 years, our family stops here for a friendly game of miniature golf. There is usually something new to see or fresh paint. I love the beautiful fresh flowers throughout the course. The attendant is very friendly & knowledgeable about the area.

We took our four-year-old and two-year-old to golf around noon. The course is nicely kept, and the motorized action features definitely kept our children's attention. The man attending the course was friendly. We will definitely go back the next time we are in town.

Had a wonderful time with our grandkids playing golf. Nice course. Very busy in the early evening which is a good thing. Course is well maintained and the cost is competitive. We had a very nice time.

My son wanted to go to Old Forge for his fourth birthday. Wanted to play mini golf and ride the train. Unfortunately it was the 2nd week of October and they were expecting snow. All the mini golf
locations were closed. We stopped at Nutty Putty and told the owner our situation. He was there only to finish up closing the location. He gave us 4 clubs and balls and turned on the course. A great classic and challenging course. If you are in Old Forge you need to play this course a true piece of Americana. Also an owner that cares!
