Despite it's name, Nyack Beach State Park does not have a beach where you can swim but don't let that keep you from visiting this beautiful spot on the banks of the beautiful Hudson River. The park can be entered from the northern end of...More

A bit hard to find but parking was fine. Be aware, there was a police cruiser checking out everyone who drove in; a bit disconcerting. Good quality flat gravel path, marked in 1/4 mile increments.

Visit and be surprised with the special things in Nyack, Hudson River is extraordinary in Nyack, the water runs slowly and vibrant life near and in, makes this little piece of Nyack a paradise.

Picturesque, relaxing place to jog with my dogs as long as it’s not super crowded. I like the gravel path that connects up into the woods and Rockland Lake/ Haverstraw trail.

A nice walk along the Hudson. It is also good for bicycling and jogging. I wish the path were a few miles longer so I can get my steps in! :)

We have hiked here twice in the past week, because the views are awesome and the trails are just the right level of challenging. There is a mostly flat bike path that runs for almost 5 miles, then hiking trails that lead you up to...More

Parked our car and went for a slow, relaxing walk by the water. Had our doggie with us. Stopped at several scenic spots to relax, cheered on the runners passing us by. Very clean. 5 miles of pleasant walk. Will definitely return when weather is...More

One great thing about this area is that you can feel like you are out in the country, when you are less than an hour from the city. This park has a nice trail and lovely scenery.

Grab yourself a picnic lunch and someone to share a leisurely stroll down this path along the Hudson. This is a hidden gem in an historic location with lots of shops to browse.

My 11yo son found some boys playing basketball on the court and jumped right in to play. They have a small skate park and a good sized, nice playground for the little ones. They have benches and I believe two picnic tables, but be advised,...More

No, it closes at sunset. It's a beautiful trail though, along the Hudson.
