We have hiked here twice in the past week, because the views are awesome and the trails are just the right level of challenging. There is a mostly flat bike path that runs for almost 5 miles, then hiking trails that lead you up to...More

Parked our car and went for a slow, relaxing walk by the water. Had our doggie with us. Stopped at several scenic spots to relax, cheered on the runners passing us by. Very clean. 5 miles of pleasant walk. Will definitely return when weather is...More

One great thing about this area is that you can feel like you are out in the country, when you are less than an hour from the city. This park has a nice trail and lovely scenery.

Grab yourself a picnic lunch and someone to share a leisurely stroll down this path along the Hudson. This is a hidden gem in an historic location with lots of shops to browse.

I've been here several times in various weather conditions. You can hike up on Hook Mountain or take the lower level which is a flat and easy walk. After a foot injury, I appreciate the lower level. If you're dressed right, it's a lovely stroll,...More

Beautiful walk along the river. Parking lot can be busy. You can walk to rockland lake if you don't mind a steep hill climb or for a really long walk turn down before the hill and walk all the way to Haverstraw.

No, it closes at sunset. It's a beautiful trail though, along the Hudson.
