Probably the top attraction in Etretat, the trail goes up the cliffs north and south of the town. The trail is long, but not too difficult. Just take your time to catch your breath! Highly recommended.

You have to climb to get yet another view, but it is worth every effort. Light up at night is spectacular.

Impossible to take a bad photo here. Easy to see from the promenade at Etretat or get a different perspective from the cliffs on the left. You can climb to the top but it gets a bit steep on occasion. Takes maybe 20 minutes but...More

Worth climbing up the cliffs from Etretat to view the cliff formations made so famous in the Impressionists paintings.

Gorgeous cliffs of Etretat. Great opportunity for photographs and a good walk up to the top. It wasn't too overcrowded when we visited in July. Parking on the beach front is difficult so head slightly further out and walk in.

This awesome natural basalt formation is the "sister rock" of Falaise d'Etretat opposite on the east side of the Etretat bay. Spectacular especially during sundown, but also when illuminated until midnight and the tide changes.

Get up early in the morning and have a hike after breakfast. It was a perfect start of the day. On the way, you can see the various impressive views and there are plenty of resting places. There is also a gold course near by.
