Saw other reviews here, so I had to add mine-
I thought it was very well done, and was actually quite amazed at how realistic it looked! How did they get the scenes with the girl and boy going over the falls? And the steamboat passage through the rapids? It doesn't look like CG.

We went to this showing as part of the Niagara Falls State Park Discovery Pass. We went in here first as a way to kill some time before our Cave of the Winds tour started. It is a informative film and it had nice views of the falls from what I assume is either a drone or helicopter footage, but if you miss the showing, dont worry. Good place to cool down if it is hot outside.

Purchased the Discovery Pass and the Adventure Theater was included. If I had not purchased the pass, would have been very unhappy. Without the pass, a ticket is $12 for an adult. The movie only lasted about 30 minutes. I was expecting a documentary about the history of the falls and how it was formed. Instead, the movie focused on some Native American legends and then spent most of the time discussing people that had gone over the falls or walked over it on a tightrope. My wife liked the move, but I found it boring and disappointing. In my opinion, the movie is not remotely worth $12, and I would not recommend that it be purchased ala carte. On the plus side, the line was short, and the theater was air conditioned.

Purchased the Discovery Pass, so the movie was basically free.
Airs every 30 minutes, so plenty of chances to fit this in your schedule. It's right in the visitor's center.
The theater is quite big, much bigger than the line queue area, so don't be discouraged if you see a long line. You'll be fine once inside.
Movie covered the basics and told a few funny and interesting stories that my kids enjoyed. About 20 minute run time. Not a must do, but recommended if you have the time.
Don't forget to get your free postcard here (although the lady working the desk was miserable). Use the coupon in the Discovery Pass flyer.

Great movie about the history and myths of the falls. You learn Indian lore and interesting facts about how the falls was exploited. Lost of interesting facts about people that went over the falls.

The Adventure Theater is in the state park visitor's center, which is a very crowded place. The movie itself is mostly about people who went over the falls either on purpose or by accident, which is a little creepy. Movie is about 25 minutes.

We bought the Discovery pass which includes this theater as well as several other things to do. It’s worth it if you plan to do most of the activities included. We researched prices before hand and it was worth it for our family to get the pass. The theater shows the history of Niagara Falls. It was clean and the seating was comfortable. It explained many things we didn’t know about Niagara Falls. If you have the time it’s worth seeing. There’s also a gift shop here as well as small cafeteria.

Been to Niagara falls 3 times and this is the first time that we did the IMAX theater and The Fury. Both were excellent and we also did the room that shows the items people had gone over the falls in, and dates and weather they lived or died trying to do so.
