On a gorgeous early Fall day, after an easy 3.5 hour trip from Philadelphia, my daughter and I drove into Storm King Arts Center, our first stop on a 4-day trip through the Hudson Valley. Easily found parking and walked to the Museum Hill visitor...More

The monumental sculptures in a setting large enough make it a worthwhile stop. However from the from gate to the staff selling cold drinks all seem to have an attitude of indifference to rude. The space is really to large for the slightly disabled or...More

Our visit to the Storm King Art Center was disappointing. The sculptures here must be an acquired taste. Most looked very much the same to us. The center grounds are vast and hilly. Be prepared to walk many miles to see it.

Worth visiting. Top art in very spacious surroundings. Fine art, beautiful located, impressive and fine mix of art and nature. Take a roundtrip in electric car first.
