In December we took our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter on the Polar Express ride. We paid $28 per ticket and were very excited about the "trip". The Railroad museum is wonderful and the staff very helpful, however we were disappointed in the excursion. While the...More

This museum is huge. When you first walk in you see some simple little exhibit but when you go into the back you are amazed. Take time to look at the little figures around the train tracks. You will see them doing interesting things. One...More

First off, the Museum is cool. I don't care for model railroading which took a better portion of the room though. The train ride- we boarded an aluminum car which wasn't painted. All of the oxidation from the aluminum stained the windows which made for...More

What a big disappointment! The view was awe full. Broken down homes, junk and no real views of any foliage. Don’t waste your money or you time.

Museum is in restored RR station. Two NY Central diesels outside. Inside houses a huge mini RR. Also has 100's of firefighter's hats. Other firefighter equipment, model planes, lanterns, RR history. Great stop for train enthusiast.

The Museum has a wide variety of setups in the HO scale. There are also many set ups tied together, Freight yards, air bases, dock yards, dock loading facilities, for a few examples. There are some very long trains running periodically. Surrounding the main track...More

We chose the coach seats because we wanted it to feel more like an actual train ride for the children. If the children have been on a train before, the. It probably wouldn’t matter.
