- wyckoffcomNew York City, New York1 contributionHappy family reunion. Below you don't list adult family reunionTotally terrific. Wonderful time. Would have loved to have stayed longer. Felt like being in a home rather than a hotel. But, of course, with Aunt living in the coop next door, it was like an extension of her place.Visited October 2023Written 1 November 2023
- ZacharyWest1948Urraween, Australia1 contributionExceptional place to stay in NYC, close to everything, quiet, great view, GREAT staffFinding a relatively reasonably priced, comfortable accommodation in NYC is not easy. The Beekman Tower was exceptional in most regards: relatively quiet and convenient location, fantastic view, GREAT staff, well appointed kitchen facilities. The only letdown was the ridiculously small towels...this would have given them a full 5 stars.Visited November 2023Written 9 November 2023
- Garth WTrincity, Trinidad1 contributionPleasant StayMy stay was really pleasant. I particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. They were genuine and willing to help. They made me feel at home. I also was fortunate to get a room with a view and I really enjoyed that very much.Visited February 2024Written 13 February 2024

- mgbtf2 contributionsClean, quiet apartments in good neighborhoodVery nice hotel with great apartments. The surroundings are rather safe. The trafic is heavy and for that reason earplugs when sleeping is a necessity. There were coffee machine, fridge, freezer, iron, gas cooker and plates etc for 4 persons in our apartment. There was a livingroom with TV and table for 5 persons, sofa and armchair. There was a sleepingroom with one bed for two persons. The restroom had shower. It was clean and everythin worked well. I highly recommend Beekman Tower.Visited April 2024Written 8 May 2024
- itracywrightAlhambra, California2 contributionsBEST HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED IN NEW YORK CITY!The Beekman Towers Hotel is fabulous. Our room was a BIG 1 bedroom apartment. It had plenty of space, the kitchen was well appointed, and the place was spotless! The location is in a great part of the city, down the street from the U.S. Embassy, with public transportation just steps away. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and we hope that we can return in the future. As much as my family and I enjoyed our stay there for the above mentioned reasons, it was only enhanced the more due to your amazing employee, Hector! From the moment we step onto the sidewalk outside of your lobby door (and he came outside to welcome us inside because we looked confused about where to go) until the day we left, we felt like we had a friend who was there to help us with anything we needed. He was personable, friendly, accommodating, and hospitable. He enhanced our wonderful stay even the more. I look forward to seeing him on our next visit.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 8 July 2024
- Wim W1 contribution8nights at Beekman with family of 5Good location. Bus stop nearby hotel. Metro a bi further, 12min walk or so. Walking distance as well to midtown, Times Square, Bryant park, Summit… Had an appartment with 2 separate bedrooms, each with queensize bed and ensuite bath/shower room. 5th person (daughter of 17) slept in a carry bed that was provided. Big rooms and living rooms and enough cupboards. Room/interior bit outdated, could care for some more love. New TV’s though in bedrooms and living room. Free coffee at machine downstairs. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed at the 25th floor, just underneath the nice Ophelia bar. Just bit loud, especially on Fridays/Saturdays. Many nearby restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast options as well minutes from hotel. Appartment didn’t come cheap but in line with the prices in Manhattan. For 4 adults and 1 teenager, a big 2 room appartment with extra bed, big living area and small kitchen was good value for money.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 29 July 2024
- Jacqueline H1 contributionMuch needed space for long stayMy two teenage daughters and I stayed in New York for 8 days of exploring. even though the unit was on the East end, it was so comfortable, spacious and provided us with a home away from home while in the city. The laudry was awesome, allowed us to pack less and the kitchen allowed us to grab groceries. I used the coffee machine in the lobby everyday and happily stayed with 3 of us, uncrowded in a 1 bedroom unit. I would book here again and would recommend this as a cheaper, safer(amazing area of town)stay rather than overcongested Time Square area!Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 27 August 2024

Park offers fantastic views of Midtown Manhattan that you simply cannot miss. The walking course takes about 45 minutes and follows the East River waterfront. The park also includes the famous Pepsi neon sign as well the Long Island Ferry dock sign. Its only one subway stop from Grand Central Station, very accessible for those staying in Manhattan. The views are worth a quick trip out to Long Island City.

The property is excellently located near the UN, a 24 hour deli and a lot of great restaurants. Staff is friendly, especially Aymen. The studio appartment is very well equipped and Internet connection is good. I highly recommedn it for this part of town where hotels tend to be expensive. Only hick is no brekfast but right across the street, there is a great place to have brekfast at a very good price. I plan to stay here again when I come to my UN meetings.

I love this state park and have been coming here for years, every summer. With beautiful views of Midtown Manhattan and the heart of the history of LIC behind it, a walk along the waterfront is wonderful during the summer months. My most recent visit was in July just after the fireworks. It was a hot summer day and the breeze along the promenade made it a memorable stop to just relax. The park is a must for anyone coming or living in Queens.

So easy to walk around and such a beautiful view! I walked here by myself as an out of town guest and was stunned by the view and all the commotion on a Thursday evening. I especially liked the walking path around the lake. A highlight of my trip!

I'm sorry, I don't know... It doesn't have gates or anything, but it may be posted to close at nite. People jog there though so, I would assume it opens very early.

how far is the park from the greyhound bus depot?
Written 7 June 2016
Take the #7 subway right at the Bus station. Stay on three stops heading to Queens. Exit at Vernon-Jackson Station which is 50th St. Walk two blocks to the river. You will see the Empire State Building in front of you. Less than 20 minutes for the whole trip.
