So this is really hard to review to give without giving the show away, but here is my best shot.

I really love immersive theatre, LARPing, escape rooms etc. if I get to play in a world I am a happy camper. It is really rare, as in this might be the first I've seen, where a walk in experience successfully gave me, as a player, full autonomy. Full autonomy made me the author of my story and the realism of this world is so complete, so detaied and so well portrayed that there were moments I had to stop and remind myself I was in a show, I was working with actors and to rewire my instincts. I am almost never fully committed to a world as much as I was in RED.

I've read some of the other reviews that talk about how there was no clear objective and I think that's both fair and also not entirely true. The objective is to survive the apocalypse outside of that you have no idea who to trust, what is real, what is important, what you're supposed to be doing. It's like a real disaster situation. All you know is you want to survive and you are clinging at straws to figure out how to do that. It's brilliant and even better, it's fun. When I left I was saying "Oh, if I had known that I would have done this differently" and while that was frustrating I realized that's how everyone feels when they are not in the thick of a catastrophe, or sitting in the audience.I thought it was brilliant, incredibly executed and really satisfying for people who really want to thoroughly commit to a world where they are not promised a happy ending. I can't wait to reboot, I wonder if my new plan will work, I hope I am more RED the next time.

We were looking for something unusual to do on a saturday night with our friends visiting from the UK and we found it. Now while the concept is different from escape rooms, murder mysteries and all that you will still find that it is the thing for you as well. I can't say more about it cause it would take the mystery away but if u like action & u r a csi wanna be, u'll
Love it. We had a lot of fun, the actors were great especially the robot at the desk and she's cute as well! The owner was extremely friendly and loved the way they listened to our feedback after the game. I persnally loved it. Now why i give it only 4 stars? I took away 1* because of the price, i believe that it is overpriced for what it is currently and the location was remote which was costly in a cab. Please dont get me wrong i think that for a start-up u guys r doing an awesome job, decoration is very realistic (can do with more floors) actors are great, make-up thumbs up, robot, orgnaization! U gotta start somewhere and u r right on it. I def. Recommend this if u r sick of traditional and standard predictible group activities try this one u wont regret it! Also, more feedback i got from our group is maybe get the actors to focus on one direction when u see how the group is behaving coz we believe we lost precious time on some clues that were leading to a different storyline instead of focusing on one ;) keep it up team it was worth my time!

This was nothing like what I anticipated! Based on the information on the website and what I heard from reviews, I couldn't quite piece together what I was getting myself into. So here's a brief, spoiler free review...

First - think of West World. If you know and like that show then I need not say anymore. You should be running to check this out!

This is not an escape room and this is not traditional immersive theatre (a la Sleep No More). This is a "choose-your-own-adventure" style of immersive theatre where your actions DIRECTLY impact what happens to your group, the actors, and ultimately the ending.

The actors are extremely dedicated to their roles - from beginning to end, I felt like I was actually living through an apocolypse and forgot who they actually were. They really made the experience worth while. Congratulations!

The set design was great considering a warehouse space had to be converted to create a realistic fall out environment.

By the end of the 75 minutes my heart was pumping, my body was sweating and I was jacked up on adrenaline. I was not ready for the time to be over...

This show is only running through December. Go check it out, you won't be sorry!

This was introduced as a cross between Escape the Room and immersive theater. And while it certainly sounded amazing, I just found that it didn't live up to its potential.

My biggest issue was that it wasn't clear what, if anything, you were actually doing. The owners talk about how you get to control your own destiny and the game responds to you -- but to what end? Without any kind of goal or plan, it's not clear what on earth the responses actually mean. The response to this was apparently that we need to come back more times, so we can see how the story is different, but I feel at 65 bucks a pop (certainly not the most expensive attraction in NYC, but not cheap either especially given the remote location), the experience should be able to stand on its own.

It also seemed strange that there were really no puzzles at all. I expected clues that had to be solved, mysteries unlocked, etc., but there didn't seem to be anything like that. I'm not sure where the "escape the room" concept came in.

I was also really surprised by how small the space was. For what looks like an abandoned warehouse under the BQE in Queens, I'd imagine they could get a little more space (and potentially fill it with more to do.)

So, I really wanted to like this. I hope my experience was just a one-off and certainly wish the owners the best. I think they've got a cool idea here, and with some more work and polishing could be really interesting. But, it's just not there yet.

That was amazing!!! I loved it, I would have go back the next day but sadly we were leaving for Montreal . The actors are doing a great job , nothing to do with an escape room, this is a live action game, this is sooooooo much more fun. Everything is safe and they are not make you do scary ( tie or lock you up) or dangerous stuff, its mostly vocal interaction. I thought about 3 other things I could have done differently and I would go back just to try them and see the other possible ending . It's too bad we can't go back before they end the game but I will definitely check if there is something similar near me ( I wish ) or for sure if they do it again next summer I will go back and bring along some friends just for that and make sure a try a few time .

What can I say but WOW! There is nothing like this in the entertainment industry. It is immersive theater, live action video game, and escape room all rolled into one! I was one of the first to attend the event and I was surprised at the special effects and in depth storyline. This type of story can only be found in Florida or an action movie. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH HOW AMAZING the Actors were!!!! I even got to meet the created of the event. I am glad I survived and I will definitely be back again!

We can't wait to go back to Red, First Person Xperience. So much fun. The actors make you believe you are in the middle of the story. What they say and do actually depends on what you choose to say and do. You have time to explore and make your own choices on how to try to survive. Then they throw some moral dilemmas in and decisions you must make. Can't tell you too much. You have to experience it for yourself. Each show is different, depending on the choices you and the others in your group make. We didn't want it to end.
