Visited the winery in August with my lady in our tour of the wineries on the eastern side of Seneca Lake and was so happy we did. All the reds were excellent, the blends and the single varietals both. Bought some bottles of the 2015...More

Wonderful tasting provided by the owner and winemaker. Their reds were the only ones we liked out of the 20 wineries we visited last week. Definitely on par with Napa and Sonoma.

I read many good things about Shalestone and finally stopped to see (taste) for myself and I was NOT Dissappointed. Very knowledgable and friendly staff to guide you through the tastings. Sampling size was generous. Wines are outstanding in my opinion.

We love red wine and the area is mostly known for riesling, but we found the reds at Shalestone to be outstanding! And we are from California!

Normally I go for dry white wines, but glad to have visited Shalestone Vineyards to learn about and try their red wines, which is all they produce. My favorite was the Red Legend - a good red blend. Pleasant, patient, and informative sommelier. Great prices...More

Shalestone had by far the best wine on our tour! They were nice enough to open early for us one time we got there a little early to get our wine before just before we left.
