My friends and I had a wonderful stop at Clovis Point for a taste of their Chardonnay which we had been told was excellent. It is! Besides that the people and atmosphere here at Clovis are terrific. We were tired of all the huge vineyards,...More

We visited the winery this weekend and were reminded of how the east end used to be, when the focus was on tasting the fruits of the island, not catering to limos and busses of bachelorette parties. The wines offered for tasing range from a...More

This review is not about our experience there, strictly the wine. My wife and I have found that their reds are among the best on Long Island. We have tasted wine in the area 4 or 5 times and have been to nearly ever winery....More

Spent relaxing few hours along the wine trail at Clovis going through a couple of bottle of their Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Lovely but a little pricey. They have inside tastings only or you can get bottles and glasses to take outside.

This winery specializes in very dry, French-style wines with prices that reflect that. Was attracted by the name: "Clovis point" is term given to the stone spear points used by the Native American Paleo-hunters who lived in this region about 10,000 to 16,000 years ago....More

This is a very relaxing, beautiful setup in the back. Outside looking at the vinyards with a big open grass area is a perfect way to enjoy the best wine around. On Sat they have a taco truck set up and they are great.
