Scuba Nosy Be diving center is located on a quiet beach, with enough restaurants and hotels. We took advantage of the backpacker's accommodation in the center, simple but very clean and free if you dive! Otherwise there is the Nosy Lodge directly next door with a great restaurant, nice rooms and nice swimming pool. There are beautiful colorful coral reefs as well as some well populated wrecks. Many varied sites: for beginners so beautiful and full of life that there is no hesitation in coming back even as advanced divers (Tanikely reserve), reefs on different depths and some walls with sharks. Two tank dives starting at 8 am return around 12/1 o’clock one still has time to visit the island in the afternoon (Mt Passot, horse riding, Hellville or the Lokobé nature reserve..). There are 4 small boats with 8 tourists and two guides during the season so you can choose where and how you want to dive and they are very flexible to find you exactly what you want. Very nice captain and skipper who stay on the boat while diving and always helps. Also nice daytours: two dives with lunch on one of the other small islands like Nosy Tanikely (magnificent reserve where you can visit lemurs and chameleons during the surface interval), Nosy Sakatia (with its green turtles that can be observed grazing in PMT) or Nosy Iranja (two islands connected by a long bank of white sand). I did the most beautiful dive of my life in Atnam, where a leopard shark followed us along the wall and presented itself from all sides, then we went up on the riff through a very pretty arch and found some pretty nudibranchs (the other group that stayed up there saw a family of white tip sharks with baby). During the surface interval, a group of about twenty dolphins visited us, then a second very beautiful dive full of fish around the bread sugar and delicious seafood lunch and swim in Nosy Iranja… the little paradise.
I also recommend them for training: in 2018, we did our CMAS 2 there and this time my 15 year old son his SSI AOWD. I highly recommend Scuba Nosy Be. Thank you Erwan & Narindra and the whole team! The world is big and so many places to discover, we rarely come back to the same corners. But there I do not regret having returned. We are already dreaming of coming back in October to see the whale sharks. Or rather in August for the humpback whales? Difficult choice !

A well-organized diving base and great places under water. Tanikely National Park aquarium with a depth of up to 20 meters. Great divers - swimming in schools of fish + turtles and huge lobsters 😎 💪💪💪
Wrecks - action cinema - there may be an average current but there are plenty of fish, schools of dancing + lobsters, crocodile fish, spring onions and lionfish the size of half a meter 😎 💪💪 💪
Night diver - action cinema again - snails from micro to 30 cm, lobsters, crabs and an eel about 1 m long also happened to us.
I definitely recommend this base for good divers. For deeper dives, take nitrox - it's a shame to end it, really 😎 💪💪💪
Very nice and efficient service. Note - trips around the island to the best places are well organized and cost on average half of what Itaka charges 😎

As a family, we booked diving packages with Scuba Nosy Be for 10 dives each plus a night dive. Everything was well organized. The diving boats were already loaded early in the morning, so all you had to do was get in. A service that is rarely found. The entire crew, including the trainee guides, are very friendly, helpful and always in a good mood. The rental equipment was in very good, new condition.
The diving sites were very diverse and really stunningly beautiful. The large coral reefs here are still top notch and the variety of species is overwhelming. When wreck diving (dive site Rosa 22) you didn't know where to look first. There were countless large lionfish, crocodile fish, snails, barracudas, stonefish and large schools of fish to admire. The night dive also had a lot to offer. Numerous crabs and lobsters, as well as snails including two Spanish dancers and a turtle could be observed during their nocturnal activities.
We also used our stay to acquire our deep diving certificate. The kids completed the SSI Advanced Diver course straight away. Roxane was really great as our instructor, always patient and helpful.
If we go on holiday to Nosy Be again, Erwan's diving center would definitely be our first port of call.
Thank you for the great dives with you. It was really fun.

The Radames diving cruise is a pearl created by Erwan and his team. Perfectly orchestrated on board by Charly, who was able to create a good dynamic and rhythm to the dives, chosen according to the tides and moods. Marie delighted us at each meal, helped by Mamina, and Flavio, Moussa, and Jacky took great care to make this cruise a wonderful moment of escape. The dive sites all have something to say that is wild, remote, astonishing and quite unique...and the hammerhead sharks...the hammerhead sharks!!!!

my 2nd stay and my 2nd cruise with Scuba.
very pleasant to see the same staff that Erwan knows how to retain with training and a very human approach. Malagasy, French-speaking and English-speaking instructors. dives in the morning in 2 tanks, which leaves the afternoon to appreciate the surroundings. Spots with very fishy wrecks.
As for the cruise to the Radama Islands, it is an excellent way to disconnect from everything. we sleep by the sea on a paradise island, far from everything, where we eat excellently on the boat, and we visit sites where only Scuba frequents them. The hammerhead shark spots are unforgettable.

Ten beautiful dives, fish: leaf, crocodile, scorpion, stone, trumpet, clowns, groupers, ...Murenes, guitar ray, dolphins, sharks, syngnates, turtles, anternary, nudibranches, benign... A multitude of different corals: corals antlers of deer, brain of neptune... cbp of gorgonians sometimes very large, wrecks covered with fish. Good visibility and especially a very organized and safe team with sailors who prepare all the equipment on the boat (including the "tooth glue" and bananas). Thanks to Nicolas, H, Mélissa, Manu, Sandrine, Angèle for their guidance and help and Erwan for the welcome.

WE are very lucky to go scuba diving with them. I am a lack of confident diver and have not been dived since Covid. They volunteered to assign an instructor to accompany me for my first dive. They also watched how I handle the checking of equipment, had me do the clear mask exercise before letting me to dive down. I feel very safe with them. They also offer good service in putting on and taking off the BCD.

Erwin and his team were very helpful and we had a great time diving and snorkeling around Tanikely. Arranged the diving trip on short notice, picked us up; the equipment seemed brand new and the dive guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Two great dives at Tanikely. Afterwards, Erwin helped arrange for us to visit Nosy Sakatia in the afternoon at high tide to snorkel with the Sea Turtles. Highly recommended.

Top diving stay, Whales and Whale Sharks not to mention the Dolphins and Turtles...
Quite a few nudibranchs from the breathtaking wrecks, a magnificent reef, without forgetting the night diving which I recommend if you like to see all the fauna that comes out at night, arthropods and other joys!
The boat crew took great care of us and we appreciated it!
From an organizational point of view, a point of improvement in communication would be appreciable 😉

Which team !
A big thank you to the Instructors, Apprentice Instructors and Sailors, without forgetting the patient reception workers, for this wonderful decompression stop that you gave me throughout this month of October. Thanks to Captain Erwan for knowing how to supervise his troop and his fleet effectively.
Nosy Be, Madagascar, between Land and Sea, Europe and Africa. Worries and hassles remain far, far away on large lands and find no place on ScubaNosyBe's diving boats.
Thank you all, Roxane, Anna, Nelson, Ash, Pierre-Yves, Pat, Antonin, Marc, etc., for introducing me to Pas de Géant into another universe, where we walk in gardens of gorgonians, where we play remoras while accompanying young whale sharks, where we encounter a multitude of shapes and colors, of all sizes. Where I breathed calmly, serenely.
Armed now with my level 1 and my 16 dives at your side, I feel ready (and impatient) for other adventures. But, know that, whatever my future seas, I will always remain clothed in your teachings, your advice, your competence, and your good humor. A sort of ScubaNosyBe protective suit! Maybe even if I really miss hazelnut caramel too much, I could find you again in May... who knows.
Good luck to each of you and to all of you together.

Hello,
we are a group of 4 people and we wanted to ask about snorkel diving, if you can provide us with this. We do not have much experience. How much will it cost us all day? If possible, from the civilization.
We have another question about whale watching. How many trip this trip. How much is the certainty of seeing them?
The last question is whether it is possible to arrange for us a boat trip to Nosy Hara Island? One day the ship would take us there. We would stay there overnight and come back for the next day and bring us to the mainland? How much will it go?
Yours sincerely, Jozef, Elena, Patrik and Katja.
