Please go see this Fire Boat. It was a pleasure to meet the volunteers onboard the FireFighter. What a massive ship. I hope I can see it one day shiny broth again.

A free - donations requested - of a fireboat. Docents are very informative and take you to engine room, main deck, and bridge. Allowed my child to sit in captain's seat and ring bell. Recommended for history lovers, very informative.

Very interesting attraction. Boat is grimy and gritty and give the real feel of what the firefighter aboard must have faced in the line of duty.

Do not miss this free tour (donations accepted) with great history about this restoration in progress. Knowledgeable staff, impressed young kids who give the tours. They really know their stuff!!

The museum was a discovery during our walking afternoon in Greenport. None of us had any idea about the history and special events depicted on this museum/boat. Very Cool!

Easy visit - right next to the ferry. You can take a quick tour of the whole boat in less than 1/2 hour. Happy to buy tshirt and support the museum. Interesting history.

The short tour is free and we were happy to buy a t-shirt and some sodas to support the boat's upkeep. When you visit, say hi to Iggy and Boo, the resident boat cats while you check out this boat, Right down the dock from...More

Decommissioned FDNY fireboat that saw action on 9/11. Volunteers doing a great job restoring her to former glory. moored over by the Shelter Island Ferry. Good tour of the engine room and they were working on the pilot house.
