It's a lovely old bridge, and is great to stand on and peacefully gaze over the Thames, but it's become so busy with traffic that I don't feel comfortable doing so anymore. What else can we do though?

To consider that this is the place where the Romans crossed the Thames 2,000 years or so ago. A sturdy, attractive engineering feat has been upgraded by the British opening the way for the traffic of today.

I crossed this bridge 6 times walking to our office from my hotel. The sun was rising one morning and the scene was fantastic. So decided to walk along the river on my way to work, very pleasant. I noticed each time i crossed it...More

Unlike most people I have the pleasure to walk/drive/cycle even run over the bridge, and to add to that I've even been under it! If I could guess, I'd say the bridge is roughly 19 feet 6 inches in height and looks to be a...More

I cross this bridge twice a day on my work commute, and I enjoy it every time. In the summer, you have a view of multiple heaving beer gardens, and in the winter you have a great view of the Thames. One other positive to...More
