This is a walking safari. Don’t be put off by the word walking. I am 72 with a new hip and Kaz was wonderful. His licence to take walking groups means that you can get out of the truck and get close to the animals. Many operators can’t do that.
We saw so many elephants, zebra, impala, monkeys, hippos, warthogs..you name it, we saw it. Best of all was the sight of an angry young elephant chasing 4 cheetahs.

Kaz is exceptional. Not only is the breadth of his knowledge amazing (animals, history, politics and more) but he makes it fun. Quizzes as you walk. What do squirrels, lions and zebras have in common? You’d never guess...go and find out!

The camp was really comfortable and a group is limited to 8 people which makes the experience really intimate.

Kaz is an awesome guide. I felt safe, stimulated and excited. He didn’t win an award as the best guide in Zimbabwe for no reason.
I truly recommend this holiday. Try it, you’ll love it.

Kaz and his team (thank you Innocent, Chef and Elvis!) made our experience in Hwange Park a memory that will last a lifetime. My friends, along with Craig Van Zyl, visited in late July. Kaz took us to a spring that few ever see and we encountered so many elephants, giraffes and water buffalo during our stay! Even got lucky to spot a leopard. The accommodations are more luxurious, then rustic. And it's always the little things that make it special - warm facecloths after a dusty walk, hot water bottles for the chilly nights and attentive staff. Delicious food, excellent conversations around the fire and amazing walks through the Bush. Thank You!!

Had an amazing trip with Kaz and the team. It was incredible getting up close to so many animals I only see on Attenborough shows and Kaz's knowledge of all of them is outstanding. The tents are spotless and very comfortable. I cant reccommend this experience enough.

Undoubtedly one of the best guides in Zimbabwe, possibly the continent. Every outing was an adventure, a quest to find or learn something new about the African bush. Kaz has a remarkable understanding of the land and the creatures who live there. Whether gazing at an elephant, or crouching down to admire a beetle, I learned about the intricacies of this complex ecosystem, and how to preserve it. I highly recommend a safari with Kaz.

My family and I have known Kaz since he first qualified as a professional guide and have been on numerous wonderful bush adventures together. Kaz has guided us on family trips with small children, on wild trips with large groups of friends from all over the world and on our own. He has always delivered with his unique mix of top class guiding, attention to detail, sense of humour, knowledge and importantly love of and insatiable interest in the bush.

A few stand out memories include:
Watching Kaz pass on his love of the bush and deep interest in all things wild to our young children through a mix of jokes, bush quizzes and other activities that kept their attention no matter how long we were out
Kaz persuading an old friend, who was very nervous of walking in the bush, to join us on a walk and watching him look after her and building her confidence back such that by the end she was so involved in the walk and the wildlife around us that her concerns had all but disappeared
Keeping low crawling up a river bed to make our way to sit amongst a pack of wild dogs for over an hour
There are many, many more.

We have not yet made it to African Safari Walks in Hwange, the area where Kaz grew up, but it is definitely on the list!!

Kaz is a tremendous guide who looked after my wife and I on our honeymoon. We had some amazing experiences both on walks and drives. Our two best experiences were Kaz's unbelievable daytime siting of a leopard, and having Kaz show us the Southern Cross and other constellations on an incredible night drive. His knowledge is incredible and his manner is gentle, humorous and exactly right for a classic safari.

I first met Kaz in Chikwenya , his knowledge of the bush is unparalleled. The walks in the wild became a regular occasion regardless of how good the fishing was. My recent trip to Africa safari walks was a exhilarating experience , getting off the vehicle and walking in the bush under the very watchful and knowledgable Kaz is something every safari lover must do.

After finishing at the top of his class in the prestigious guide school, Kaz has worked as a safari guide for years. I first got to know Kaz while he was in Chikwenya, and I have been on numerous safaris with him. There is no better guide. His wealth of wildlife and plant knowledge is encyclopedic, and he conveys this in a very good and often humoristic manner. He has a knack for seeing things in nature that provides the best experience possible for those he guides. If an animal of interest is around, Kaz will find it. He is also always alert, which is a key consideration for anyone on a walking tour. It is a fantastic experience and I have always felt safe with Kaz around. We even went and sat down with a pack of 17 wild dogs (painted dogs)! That is just an experience you will never forget! Kaz is a gem!

Kaz guided us in very muddy conditions along the Zambezi river he was incredibly knowledgeable and had the whole group in stitches of laughter describing the sexual habits of all the wild animals. I would not hesitate to recommend Kaz and will defiantly look him up next time I am in that part of the world.
