Beautiful and accessible beach
Aug 2021
Easy access by bike. Lots of waves, white soft sand. Beautiful beaches on La Digue and this is one of the easiest to get to.

Incredible beach with strong waves
Jul 2021
Almost deserted when we arrived. Fantastic beach and quite clean. The tidal swamp combined with the granite rocks, pristine blue-teal waters, white sands and lush tropical flora can be almost unreal.

The nicest beach in Seychelles
Jul 2021
Seychelles have few beaches which are more then beautiful. I love Anse Lazio or Anse Georgette on Praslin Island but my big time winner is Grand Anse on La Digue. A big, wide, sandy beach with azure water and big waves. It is definitely not for regular swimming but for a fun in the waves? Yes! If you have one beach to enjoy on La Digue, make it this one.

Out of planet Earth

When I first entered this beach, my breath was taken away...great blue turquise waves, no people, soft white sand...I have no words...this was out of this world! I was very very happy to be there!

Stunning views. No swim
May 2021 • Friends
A picturesque unorganized beach with big white sand strip, really stunning. Unfortunately one is met by a notice for dangerous currents and swimming avoidance advice, that makes rather a sightseeing attraction than beach experience place.

One of the best beaches on La Digue!
Apr 2021 • Couples
We were here twice and the beach is beautiful. Soft white sand, turquoise water and the food from the bbq was unbelievable. There are strong currents, (not rips), but swimming is not recommended. You can go into the water no problem but don’t go out beyond mid chest height, you will feel the current pulling you seaward.
We had a barbecued whole red snapper which is by far, the best fish I have ever tasted and washed down with fresh coconut milk. Amazing!

Temperature
Jan 2021
The water temperature here is high. We sincerely hope it is not because of global warming. Lots of sea weeds as well.

Stunning view
Aug 2020
We walked form our hotel in La Passe a 50 minute walk, relatively flat but a steep downward slope to the beach which of course results in what seems an even steeper climb back up. But a real experience to see the Digwa in their homes and working the land
