Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The fields are nice and a good walk so be prepared to walk and wear shoes.
You can pick lavender to be converted into oil and just take the flowers home.
Staff need the smile.
Had a coffee which could only be described as lukewarm warm a little disappointing

All in all the title says the story once is enough.

The large lavender field is not open to public when we were there, so we could only access the cafe and mini lavender field. Probably we are there at the wrong time thus the lavender is not at bloom.

We were very disappointed at this venue, there are disabled signs at this place but clearly nobody has ever tried pushing a wheelchair over slate chips on the ground.
Your shop was a real let down, no lavender soap or bath bombs barely anything to peruse. Clearly you just want to attract people to your tea rooms? Which incidentally the first member of staff we spoke to ( a young girl ) said the p,ace was closed at 2.30…….then a more senior lady explained we could still get tea & coffee and a cake to eat just nothing cooked.

Food was good, venue was good, service let them down. OK, so they were busy, but they set the restaurant up to serve that may customers, They had the tables and seating for that many, just a pity the kitchen staff weren't up to the task.

The lavender farm is a bit far but it is quite an interesting place to visit. There are signs to help guide your way from the motorway. There is plenty of parking once you head down the driveway.
You are able to go to the cafe for food or visit the farm itself. We started at the cafe since we were wanting to try the lavender ice cream. They normally don't sell the ice cream at the cafe since the machine is down on the fields but they were kind enough to do it for us that day. The ice cream did arrive a bit melted but that was expected due to the trip it had to take. The ice cream was quite smooth and had a subtle lavender flavour which was nice. We also tried the cronut which was ok.
The cafe had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as an indoor play area for smaller kids and an outdoor playground for the larger ones.
The $15 entry into the lavender farm included picking the lavender and getting fresh lavender oil from it. You can see a patio at the cafe which overlooks the farm. You head down into the fields and to the right there are some buildings. Here you can grab a bag and scissors to pick the lavender with. The lavender ice cream is also available here as well as some hot food, under tree seats and toilets.
The picking was interesting since it required cutting the branches. The rows of lavender were huge. They did seem a bit dried out though so the lavender scent wasn't very strong in the fields. It was a nice experience walking along the multiple rows of lavender and watching the bees go bout buzzing away. There is a shaded area near the fields where you are able to rest under some sails if you do get tired.
It was a unique experience. It probably would have looked nicer (but hotter) on a sunny day.
