Had a wonderful weekend at Green Lakes State Park. Fall 2018. We rented Cabin 7 and it was perfect. Neat and clean ! Staff was very friendly and informative. The lakes park are amazing. Great place for family hikes and pictures.
This place awakens the senses! I spent the afternoon twice and was in awe of the fall colours, the extensive walking paths, especially those along the glacial lake with shades of azure blue. The cook out and camping facilities make this a perfect place for...More
When it is too cold to swim Green Lakes still has a lot to offer. There are miles of flat trails around the lakes and plenty of more challenging trails on the hillsides. The State has done considerable work on drainage to help preserve the...More
We visited at the end of September on a cool day. The beach area looks like a great place to visit in the summer. The trails around both Green Lake and Round Lake are well maintained. Bikes are not allowed around Round Lake as it...More
Great trails. Loved the one around the lake the most. Clean bathrooms. Lots of benches if you need to rest. Very clean park. Looks like a great beach area with a snack stand and changing rooms in the summer. Lots of parking too

I sincerely doubt it. I would be shocked if they did. No one is allowed in the water outside of the swimming areas; not even wading on the shore. The Park Police and Lifeguards can be pretty strict about that. The lake is very deep and they don't want to have to get divers to search for a body. As such, they wouldn't offer a platform from which it was so easy to fall into the water. They do rent row boats for $7/hour. There is no mention of canoes or kayaks on the website.
