Jacob Riis Park has a huge coastline along the Atlantic ocean. I went there for the first time to touch the Atlantic. :P long sandy beach, lots of lifeguards and lots of people having fun with families.

Look, this is not the Mediterranean or the Caribbean, but on a really hot summer day this will definitely do. Enjoy with friends and family or alone. Also, the traffic on Marine Parkway can be a mess, so I would advise getting there early.

I have been coming to Riis well over 40 years. Its home but with all this extra money coming in from renting the vendor stands you would think they can fix the empty handball courts by bay 10 and put in showers too? And for...More
